02/21/2006 Entry: "Warp 5 link check"
I'm doing link checks for the Warp 5 Complex fan fiction archive. I'm testing links for authors and updating (or deleting) URLs and e-mail addresses. In addition, I will be checking the links for stories linked off site. If they are broken, I will delete the fic from the archive. I will contact individual authors with a note that their linked fic will be removed, to give them an opportunity to provide full text (or a new link).
Also, please note that we only link to other fic archives with their specific permission. We cannot link to LiveJournal blogs, even if you have a paid site; nor can we link to FanFiction.net. It's a netiquette thing.
As I correct the archive, I will delete and reupload fiction. This will affect the Last7Days links; some fiction may not really be new.
