04/10/2006 Entry: "Warp 5 Complex transferred to new software"
The Warp 5 Complex fan fiction archive has been transferred to new software: eFiction 2.0.3. This software switch was made to allow authors to upload their own fic. The original Warp 5 Complex was mirrored and then the most recent fic from the EntST* Yahoo! lists was posted, so the new site should be up to date.
Because so much of the fic we had up was archived a long time ago, we do not have current contact info for many authors. We sent out a mass e-mail to all authors archived on Warp 5 asking them to check the new site before it went live today (April 10), but we immediately got more than 80 e-mail bounces. We've done our best to update all author information, but sometimes this has simply not been possible. If you're an author on Warp 5 and you didn't get an e-mail asking you to check over the site, please e-mail the Archivist with updated information.
The Archivist is also taking corrections. Authors may also log into the site themselves by requesting a password. Complete info on how to log in is in the Help FAQ. Logged-in users can update their profiles and can leave comments.
